Fight Club Action Painting (Part 1 of 3)
Made with Shlomi Amiga and Keith Eager
This painting was a synesthesia piece after a particular scene in fight club.
(The Jared Leto scene)
We made a video of the process that includes the audio from the film.
Enjoy!

See thru
Plywood
Yes I know that's not how you spell through.
This is my first sculpture piece and when placed properly the thru goes behind the SEE, so you see thru. har har har

Mom and Gram's
Oil Painting
This was painted from a photo from 1988 of my favourite ladies in a polaroid frame.

Virgin and Twins
Ok so yes this is definately frightening and very different from my normal style but my teachers at OCADU recomended I break out of my comedic photorealism style.
This is what the result is of me "broadening" my style.

Yee ol' Wee Wee
Oil Painting
This is part of a diptych family portrait. This is my guinea pig Wee Wee on the body of an 19th century little boy.
Cats!Cats!Cats!
4'X4'
I found this picture of my grandfathers cat Fred and knew i wantd to use it for something.
I made direct transfers onto the canvas on each corner, some didn't work so well but i kinda like the effect it gives.

Valpincon Bather by ingres (copy)
This is the only photo I have and it was unfinished at this point, but beautiful none the less.

Fear God, Honour The Queen
Done in Photoshop blending a painting of my own with photo's taken from my visit to the 100th anniversary of the HMCS Haida in Hamilton.
Also the statue is from Ottawa.

Portrait of my boyfriend and I, the photo reference was taken at the Niagra falls bird sanctuary.

John Singer Sargent copy, I call her hat lady.
School Project.

King street West
This was drawn from a photo, no I am not a time traveler.
I was waiting in line at TIFF and these cars pulled up to promote HBO's Boardwalk Empire.
Perfect photo op and perfect drawing.
That's tea stain in the bkgd.

The Duke, my one true love.

Surprise! This is not a photograph. It's graphite and took me 20+ hours. I was happy with how i got the "crazy" eyes of Vivian Leigh.

This drawing I made at Humber College, it's niiiiice.

The Queen of Hearts, dont mess with her!

Zombie Alice in Wonderland, part of a character development project i did at Humber College.
Weird.......

Ok so I have this wierd thing where I like to put the heads of one thing on the body of other things. This one is a sports illustrated model with a kind of Seuss head.

Leg Doodle!
Growing an art baby
Box! This one was made for a gift, just a box from the dollar store. Fun fact......When you open the lid it says Box on the inside as well.
This is my favourite of all my doodles, it's called Primary Colours. This piece in particular was one of the first pieces I ever had in an art show.
Trying to incorporate colour harmonies into my work, I think  was trying to create balance of colour amongst the confusion of the image.
So i found this Bic pen once it was a uniball something or other. Needless to say it inspired me to do this piece. The pen is long gone now............let it rest in peace.
Purple Orange
These pieces are great because you can turn them in any direction and see something different every time.
Boobies!
P.S These were all done in my Moleskin.
The second attempt at my doodles, here I tried to use more colours.
This was the first of many funky doodles I did, these pieces start with one image and then i look at the negative space and decide what suits the area. It's kinda a medley of what is in my head.
